Job history settings

Job history settings control how the engine processes job execution logs.

You can choose one of the following strategies:

• Keep all history (no cleanup): Retains all records indefinitely.

• Delete history after retention period: Permanently deletes expired records.

Additionally, the engine can be configured to retain a fixed number of the most recent records regardless of age.

Warning

On busy instances with frequent job executions, logs can grow excessively. It is strongly recommended to configure log retention to prevent metabase excessive growth and/or performance degradation.
